There is also a great explanation on the A1 videos that JC did
I'd asked this in another place...does anyone have any contact info for JC? Also, does anyone know how he is, what he's up to, where he's performing? I've been a huge fan for quite some time, but haven't heard a thing from him since he did the Brad Burt videos several years ago.

Ammar teaches it on "Easy to Master Card Miracles" Vol. 5.
A-1 did a strange thing with the instruction on the "Commercial Magic" tapes. J.C. teaches the regular size card version on volume one "The Commercial Magic of J.C. Wagner" but it is not performed in front of the crowd at the opening of the tape. The Jumbo card version is performed (but NOT explained) on volume 2, "More Commercial Magic..."
The mechanics of both Jumbo and regular cards is the same. There is only a small handling difference owing to the size of the Jumbo, but if you learn the poker-size version the needed adaptaion for the Jumbo version should be obvious.
Great stuff on these tapes!
Cheers,

J.C. Wagner's email address is on page 277 or 278 of the Magic Café members list. Jess
Hi Rick, You were interested in a contact for JC. He's #14 on page 277. You see, I'm a huge fan too. JC's, "The Commercial Magic of JC Wagner" remains one of my top 5 favorite magic books. I still return to its contents on a regular basis. Drop him a line. Jess

My favorite from The Commercial Magic Of J.C. Wagner is Twisted Underground Transposition.
It's a VERY nice little trick. Check it out, the book is a keeper and faily inexpencive.

Through Brad Burts shop JC put out a revised version
of this trick on a one-effect video. I believe it was just a couple of years ago.

What first attracted me to the book was his work on the Gamblers Cop. And then I realized that everything else in this book was gold as well.

I think this book is a GEM, really intrigued me when I first read the books between pages to pages and one thing for sure, when you read Wagner's routines, you will be able to extract and conclude that Wagner is a creative genius in creating routines. I think most of the items are well-worth to read and perform. I love 80% of the materials in this book. Really Kills!
Without doubt, his super closer is wicked and like gold, I have performed this to many of my clients, they floored and I think I will perform this whenever I have the chance in my life. Oh I love it.
I will post my review at my blog section more about this book.

Hey Andrew, Super Closer is still a routine that JC practices and tweaks on a weekly basis. It definitely is a wonderful routine. For a few updated handlings, that get rid of the few discrepencies in the original routine, check out "Full Metal Jacket." There are 3 new handlings in that booklet, 2 of which use a sleight, 1 of which is completely self-working (like the original).

Also, be on the lookout for a new DVD from JC coming out (hopefully) next month. It is titled "7 More Secrets" and is currently in the editing stages.

Full Metal jacket is well worth the asking price!
